Worship Ministries
We have many worship
related ministries to participate in.
Some are ongoing and some are
seasonal. Some examples follow:
Acolytes
Acolytes assist in worship services by
lighting the candles on the altar table
before the service begins and extinguishing
them when the service ends. This
important role signifies the beginning and
completion of worship. Contact
Christina Salscheider.
Chancel
Choir
All singers are welcome.
Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at
7:30pm. The choir presents new music
every year along with old favorites,
sometimes enhanced by guest musicians.

Handbell
choir If
you would like to do something musically but
insist that you have no singing voice, come
be a bell ringer. Even if you've never
played bells before, that's not a
problem. Training is provided. Contact Sharon Kosmider or click here.
Communion Preparation
and Serving
Prepare the elements and the altar for
communion on the first Sunday of the month,
and/or serve communion during the
service. Training is provided.
Contact Evelyn Causer.
Healing / Prayer Team
Participate in healing (laying on of
hands) during worship at communion services
and in prayer circles afterwards in the
prayer room. Training is provided for
new team members. May also assist in
planning additional healing services.

Christmas
Cantata
This year it's on Sunday morning,
December 21, 2008. The core of the
cantata group is the Chancel Choir, joined
by additional singers, an orchestra, and narrators.
Rehearsals for those not in the Chancel
Choir are limited to allow participation of
those who cannot commit to a full year of
singing. Anyone interested in joining
the orchestra, please contact Lynn.
Greeters
Be the friendly face and outstretched
hand welcoming others to Sunday morning
worship and friendship time
afterwards. Contact Donna Roy.
Ushers
More friendly faces to welcome others
into the sanctuary, hand out bulletins, and
help people find seats. The ushers
also collect the offerings. Children
and youth are welcome to act as
ushers. Contact Kaye Ferris.
Liturgists
Liturgists assist the Pastor in leading the
congregation in worship. Leads in
prayer and reads from scripture.
Contact Mike Goldstein.
Multi-Media Team
Assist in making our worship service a
multi-media experience. We need
internet researchers, digital photographers,
presentation designers, projection
technicians, and soundboard engineers.
It's easier than it sounds and training is
provided. May assist regularly or fill
in as needed. Contact Mark Clark and
Anijka Stone.
