United Methodist Men
United Methodist Men are very active at Novi UMC.
They sponsor two or three spaghetti dinners annually.
They are also very active in the annual Auction,
the annual Yard Sale, Christmas By Candlelight,
the Annual Chili Cook-Off and the annual Pancake
Breakfast, to name but a few. They serve the church
in areas that are most needed, assisting with
fund raising and helping with youth projects.
Meetings are scheduled as needed. Information

The
Fishermen Men's Group
"The Fishermen" is a small group for men that will
meet the first and third Mondays
of each month starting in June (6/7, 6/21). Our
initial Bible study curriculum will follow Tony
Dungy's "Quite Strength: Discovering God's Game
Plan for a Winning Life." Our goal is to study
the Bible for perspectives on being a man in the
modern world and support each other in following
this ideal. Meetings will start at 7:00 pm in the
church library and last approximately 90 minutes.
No materials or preparation are required. See

United Methodist Women
The women's arm of the UMC meets the third
Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the
church library. This group is active in
Christmas by Candlelight, bake sales and other
local causes. The purpose of this unit is
to join in supporting local, national and
global mission outreach.
All women inside and out of the church are
invited to attend. More information regarding
this group can be obtained from the president,
Sue Seelye.
Sharing and Caring
Women's Group
Sharing and Caring:Women
caring for each other and sharing the word of
God. This is a small group where women of the
church can find connection and spiritual
support. Our meetings are the first
and third Monday of each month. The
first meeting of 2010 will take place on June
7th at 7pm in the prayer room of the church.
This session, we will be studying from the
book "Encouraging One Another" which is from
the Women of Faith series. If you are
interested in participating in this group,

United Methodist Jr/Sr
High Youth Group (UMYF)
Meets monthly on Sunday evenings for Bible
Study at the Vallerand's home from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
The Youth Group regularly does mission work,
either locally such as in the Detroit Cass
Corridor working with Cass Community Social
Services or helping out in disasters
elsewhere. For pictures, click on the

NUMC Young Adults
This group of young adults in their twenties
and thirties meets on the third Saturday of each
month for a time of fun and fellowship. Past
activities have included dinners out, bowling, hiking
at a local park, game night and navigating a
corn maze. For more information about this
