Understanding the importance of Christian education in the life of the church, we offer classes for adults and children every Sunday morning. In addition, opportuniities for Bible study and education may be available at other times as part of special studies.
The Adult Sunday School class meets immediately after Friendship Hour, usually at 11:15, and is finished by 12:00. Youth are also welcome to attend.
Adult Sunday School is a study of scripture and ways to grow closer in relationship with God, each other and ourselves. All are welcome to attend as well as to teach a class. There are no tests or grades, only opportunities for learning, prayer, sharing and spiritual growth.
In addition to the post-worship adult education, various Bible Studies, Religion/Spiritual Enrichment, and Life Skills courses are offered in the evenings.

Recognizing children as vital members of the family of faith, Novi United Methodist Church provides a comfortable, safe place where boys & girls can experience God's love.
For children up to Grade 6
9:45-10:20: Worship (children are in the sanctuary until after the children's message)

11:15-12:00: Children's Sunday School (described below)
Children's Church - during the worship service, after the children's message. The focus of this time is worship. As with "Adult Church", during this time children will sing songs, read Scripture & have prayer time - all in a format appealing to children.
Children's Sunday School - following Fellowship Time. The focus of this time is dedicated to education. Children will hear a lesson & will engage in an activity/craft to help reinforce the day's theme. This will be held in the Children's Education Room.
We have a staffed toddler nursery room and our Cry Room is available for parents to take their little ones, from which the parents can still participate in worship.
