Youth
The youth have started a Bible
study curriculum and
discussions about how the Bible relates to problems
that youth encounter in their everyday lives.
They
meet each Sunday morning immediately after Friendship
Hour. They are meeting periodically during
the summer as well.
They
are led by Sharon Kosmider and Warren and April
Vallerand.
Children
"Spirit Zone" is the
name for our children's program.
The
program has recently been totally revamped and the
children have a new curriculum plus an activity
each week. Teachers and leaders rotate each
week giving the children an opportunity to see the
Bible from different people's perspectives.
There is also a craft activity each week related
to what they have been studying. Our
children's music program, led by Paula Grisell-Goldstein,
is now integrated into our Sunday school
curriculum. Christina Salscheider heads a
team of very competent and enthusiastic teachers.
The
children go to "Spirit Zone" immediately
following their special time in the worship service.
After their craft time, they join the adults and
youth at Friendship Hour.
Adult
The adult Sunday School class
meets immediately after Friendship Hour.
This puts the starting time usually at 11:15.
Adult
Sunday School is a study of scripture and ways to
grow closer in relationship with God, each other
and ourselves. All are welcome to attend as
well as to teach a class. There are no tests
or grades, only opportunities for learning,
prayer, sharing and spiritual growth.
