Children's Education

Recognizing children as vital members of the family of faith, Novi United Methodist Church provides a comfortable, safe place where boys & girls can experience God's love.

For children up to Grade 6

9:45-10:20    Worship (children are in the sanctuary until after the children's message)

10:20-11:00  Children's Church (described below)

11:00-11:15  Fellowship Time (children will join adults in the library for snacks)

11:15-12:00  Children's Sunday School (described below)

Children's Church - during the worship service, after the children's message.  The focus of this time is worship.  As with "Adult Church", during this time children will sing songs, read Scripture & have prayer time - all in a format appealing to children.

Children's Sunday School - following Fellowship Time.  The focus of this time is dedicated to education.  Children will hear a lesson & will engage in an activity/craft to help reinforce the day's theme.  This will be held in the Children's Education Room.

We have a toddler nursery room and our Cry Room is available for parents to take their little ones, from which the parents can still participate in worship.
